Merits in research leadership & organisation

·         One of three responsible writers of the Research strategy of Mid Sweden University for 2012–2016, sent to the Swedish Government in December 2011.

·         Head writer for the Mid Sweden University application to the Knowledge Foundation for becoming a selected 10 year research partner ("KK-miljö"). Application was granted in December 2011, with two research areas of the university included in the partnership, and an option to qualify two more for eligibility of the funding. Expected total value over 10 years around 250 Msek.

·         Head writer for three Mid Sweden University applications to the Swedish National Agency of Higher Education for the right to confer Teacher Education (2011). All three applications were granted.

·         Wrote framework for proposal for book series on the Nordic Region, consisting of five volumes with ca 60 contributions, organised submission of book proposals. After peer-review by 10 anonymous reviewers, the book series The Nordic Experience was accepted in 2011 for publication by Ashgate Publishing, UK.

·         Within the Nordic Spaces research programme organised multiple meetings with the Steering committee and the Publication committee (8-10 participants at each meeting) in locations such as Tartu (Estonia) Torshavn (Faroe Islands) Helsinki and Stockholm, including arranging practicalities, setting agendas and organising social programmes.
